On Saturday we made one of our short trips to Flensburg, walking through the shopping area. On the way back to the car we passed a beautiful backyard, the Käte-Lassen-Hof.
Käte Lassen (1880-1956) was an artist and designer born in Flensburg and working there and in Denmark most of her life. She besides her paintings she also made gorgeous church windows.
Well this backyard is plain beautiful. A lot of nice structures and backgrounds, like stepping from the busy shopping street (Holm) into an anchient world.
I only had my manual 50mm lens with me, and with the cloud-covered sky the light around 7.30 pm was excellent for some natural-light shots.
