Yesterday we were on a little history trip. After a family meetup in a little café we all jumped into the cars to visit the old home town of my grandparents. Gulde is the place where my grandfather had his first employment as a teacher… more than 60 years ago!

Not far from there the locals recreated a thing place like it might have existed around there some 1200 years ago. In a stone circle like this one our germanic and norse ancestors would have gathered to speak law and justice. The whole place is beautifully made, with a little stream running beside a fireplace, benches and tables made of rocks placed on the side of the hill and other rock formations looking like stone graves or stone ships.
