Today was the annual Gottorfer Landmarkt, one of Germany’s biggest fairs for all things connected to organic agriculture, energy, crafting etc.
After a cold and rainy morning at midday the sky opened and we went there – all eco-friendly on our bikes. A lot of people were there, as always. Sadly the Galloway-steaks were already sold out (they are extremely delicious) but the Frikadellen were nice as well! Besides the many food and plant sellers there were a lot of crafts-people and artisans presenting their work. A paradise, especially for Van!
I was taking a lot of photos. As they are more than usual I will not go through the process of uploading them here. Instead I created a quick Gallery in the Lightroom 3 beta2. You can find it here.
Excellent photos Schatz! :) indeed was a very nice turn of the day. First quite ugly, dark and raining, and suddenly bright blue sky, though we had still the strong winds. We enjoyed a lot, and perfect closure was the match at the Mini Golf beside the Barock Garten, behind the palace. And then the bike ride home through the forest.. excellent sunday!
Great pictures ! We would have liked to come too, but it was so cold here that we put the “holzofen” on and stayed inside….
Hi Matthias!
I followed the link in our Team Yahoo Group. Du hast’s echt drauf! Great pictures! I’m looking forward to see more of your work.
you’ve won me over with your photography! I would kill for photography skills like yours!!!
The fair looked like it was so much fun, I’m jealous.
Thank you very much for the comments, folks! Just try to hold it back Missus D, there are less violent ways to learn photography! ;-)
