Fördejahr – Week 22: One year between Germany and Denmark

And now for something completely different: I had not planned to show an aerial view of the Flensburger Förde in my series – to be honest, I didn’t even think of the option. But on a flight from Oslo to Hamburg last Monday the plane took just the perfect route, and the weather was excellent, too. We had hoped for this combination at the airport and booked our seats accordingly, just a bit too close to the wing, as I noticed later. So this view of the Flensburger Förde with Holnis in the lower center and Flensburg in the upper left corner is cut out of the original photo, but still I got what I wanted – the Förde as seen from an airplane. I got extra lucky, because no 5 minutes later we were asked to store the camera because the plane started the descend to Hamburg.
