When we were at the Eider Barrage last month there was lots of spectacle going on. The trents were chasing each other through the sunset sky, flying the wildest maneuvers. It’s great to watch them make their fast changes of direction and sudden attacks, but much harder to get it on the camera chip. These two were flying right in front of us for a while, and I was lucky.

Beautiful capture with great light in a dynamic range. Fantastic job Matt. This image could be in a book and displayed in a gallery. Thanks for sharing.
