First of all: Happy New Year to everyone! I hope you had a great start into 2010!
After taking a short break in the Christmas week winter came back with full force the last weekend. We have around 10 centimeters of snow in Schleswig now, with more predicted for the upcoming days.
We used the sunny sunday afternoon for a little walk at the Sankelmark lake between Schleswig and Flensburg, just when the sun was about to set.
I also got a new flash, a Metz 48 AF-1 Digital for my Pentax camera. The hot show of the old one, a cheap Exacta flash, was breaking frequently since several months, usually when I needed it most on assignments… the new one feels good so far and has much more sophisticated settings for both on-camera (with P-TTL) and off-camera (Manual) use. It is also more powerful and has a more solid feeling. More on that in a separate post soon.
Here are some more photos from sunday:
Just wonderful… as far as I remember, this was my first time at -14°C. Schleswig and Schleswig-Flensburg / Angeln area is a lost paradise when is covered by snow… These images just inspire me for more art… :) thank you for these photos Matt
