I didn’t really dislike the old look of my blog, but after almost two years I thought a change wouldn’t be a bad idea. So during the last weeks I was investing some time in looking for a new simple and clear WordPress theme. I found it on elegantthemes.com, a website Van discovered while looking for a new theme for her own website, so the low subscription fee already paid back double for us.
After some changes and adaptions I’m quite happy with how it looks, even if the next weeks will probably show the need for some little tweaks here and there. What I like most of it that now I can also use portrait format for the featured photo on the top of the posts… actually the only thing that was not implemented how I wanted it in the old theme.
I also added a permanent sidebar, to be able to offer some more options. Right now there you find the subscription links, a little showcase of my etsy shop and some other useful shortcuts.
Well right now I’m happy with it for myself. But what about you? Is there anything you would like to see improved or something that is not working for me at all? Feel free to drop a comment and let me know!
