This photo was taken on sunday afternoon, at 4.40… the sun was already gone, we are getting close to the longest night of the year. I loved the light and the strong colors already when we were standing there (in the cold at temperatures going just below 0° Celsius). They are reproduced quite nicely on this photo.

The harbour of Schleswig is home of some small ships that make trips on the Schlei inlet. It’s main purpose though is offering space for small to medium-sized sailing boats in a marina and campers on the parking area. It has become quite a good spot for camping mobiles with view to the Schlei (the campers are parked directly on the water).

The church tower on the left belongs to Dreifaltigkeitskirche (Trinity church), the church of Schleswigs southern part Friedrichsberg.
