We’ve had a beautifully winterly week here at the Danish border. It started with frost and finished with a heavy load of snow, which sadly was gone after only one day. Thursday has been the coldest day of the week, with a chilly -14° Celsius in the night. In the (still pretty cold) morning I was at the harbor to take one of the classic panoramic views (click to see a bigger version) of Flensburg. The water had just a slight cover of ice, but right in front of me there was a little stream (Lautrupsbach) flowing into the harbor, leaving some open water for the ducks. The fog was already lifting to cover everything for a couple of hours, so I had come just in time.
