A view of Schleswig, on a foggy and terribly cold December night. I took this one back in 2009 and never really got satisfied with it… some tweaking in the color and brightness made the trick now. I don’t understand how I could process this in an strong glowing orange once… the lights are yellowish anyway and make a nice color contrast to the purple/bluish light that tints the foggy sky. The light leaking in from the right is coming from the cathedral illumination, by the way.

The tower in the center is the Wikingturm, which is providing a great view to across the Schlei, while destroying the view of Schleswig from almost every other place…
