I remembered the photo of this little fellow yesterday when the same kind of birds – Goldfinches – were visiting our balcony. Maybe this one was one of them, because the photo was taken not far from here.

Goldfinches are one of the most beautiful birds we have here, and it’s not that often that I see them. I was glad to get relatively close to two of them one morning (even if this photo is a crop to about 1/3 of the original photo). Maybe I could have gotten even closer, but two dogs came running from behind them and scared them away.
