The museum shipyards in Flensburg are an infinite source for interesting detail photos. Here a group of dedicated people restores and repairs old boats with the methods and materials of like 100 years ago, and visitors can just walk freely in the area and watch everything (for a little donation of at least one Euro… happily!)

On this photo is a pack of long wooden masts wrapped in a roll of plastic foil. I liked the repeating pattern of the rope and the shiny little drops on the plastic.

Photo data: Pentax K20D, 50-200 mm lens at 200 mm, f5.6, 1/100 second and ISO 100.
