This afternoon I took a little walk to a small stream close to here to see what mix of ice and water I could find. The result are some photos that I like quite a lot, but this one was my favorite (the other ones are coming, too). It’s just a small twig hanging over the water, covered with some distinctive icy spikes. I like the color contrast, too.

Photo data: Pentax K20D, 50-200 mm lens at 200 mm, f11, 4 seconds and ISO 200, Polarizer (mostly to darken the lens and give me the longer shutter speed for the flowing water).
