It is time for the migrating birds to fly south again. That is an especially impressive sight on the west coast, in the national park of the wadden sea. Thousands and thousands of birds take their break on the huge salt meadows behind the dikes, fly up and down and make a hell of a noise.

This photo was taken in April though, when these birds made their stop on the way to Scandinavia (I wanted to fly with them!).
