The wind was blowing to the east when we were at the sea on Sunday – so the water was pretty calm, there were almost no waves. To make the water perfectly smooth I took a long exposure, because a photo like this one was more or less what I had in mind when we arrived at the beach. I wanted to make a black and white photo out of this. The almost symmetrical shape of the clouds were a great graphical element, perfect for my idea.
