As I had hoped, we had time for a short visit to the Treßsee area again yesterday. The heath is covering the hills in beautiful purple tones at the moment. Mixed with the sunset it was a gorgeous sight.

I used my trial version of HDR Expose for this photo. The program gives very good results (with some patience for the long processing time…), but here is was not totally satisfied with the sky. So I used the sky from one of the photos and blended it with the result from HDR Expose.
