Most of them at least. Most farmers around here were lucky to empty their wheat fields last week, before all the rain came. We had heavy storms these last days.

I took this photo on the way back from Kiel one evening in July, when the cropping just had started. For one month the streets were filled with trucks full of cereal of all kind. Wheat, barley, rye, rapeseed, you name it. The next wave is just around the corner: The omnipresent corn is about to get ready…

The sun was already quite low that evening, and painted the straw and the field in a great golden light.
