On Sunday we were watching a beautiful sunset over the North Sea. We went to the Eidersperrwerk (Eider barrage), which is home for a big colony of arctic trents. They are already taking over the place again for nesting and made a nice spectacle in the last light of the day. I could catch some of them in flight, like this one that was flying in a perfect position for me to capture it in front of the setting sun and the beautiful colors.
