Today I was traveling through the Eiderstedt peninsula for an assignment, and I was taking photos of the churches along my way. Behind the church of Katharinenheerd I heard a loud spectacle and went to check… the fields and the air were full of birds.
It were geese gathering for their flight to the south, and in the field right in front there were Lapwings, meeting for the same purpose.
The backlit horse and the misty atmosphere helped to create an ideal November photo.
