It’s time to catch up. The last weeks have been to busy to blog, but I still have some autumn and winter photos to share!

This one was taken back in golden October, when we were trying to follow a white-tailed eagle that we had seen some 30 minutes before. Sadly, we didn’t see it again, but instead a bird-watcher showed us this family of Egyptian Geese.

This bird is (quite surprisingly) originally from Africa and is spreading more and more in Europe. It is indeed considered a danger for local species and very aggressive. Indeed they are even killing other waterbirds in their breeding territory – with hits of their pick or even by drowning them.
