Two photos from last week’s visit to Neumünster zoo. We arrived there in the early afternoon and after a while it got dark… we left the zoo around 5 p.m. in almost total darkness. It started to rain, too… and to make it worse I hit my head badly trying to get into a good position to take a photo of a beaver in the dark.
With the last light I got some photos of the snow owl and this monkey grandpa. He was sitting beside the path let me get really close without showing any fear. The monkey-area was one of the better ones, quite big and with the possibility for visitors to walk inside.
